Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review construction documents and permit submittals.

Assume responsible charge for the overall economic well-being of assigned project designs.

Perform hydrologic modeling and stormwater runoff calculations.

Conduct horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and cross-sectional design.

Demonstrate proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, sediment and erosion control, sanitary and storm sewer design, hydraulic modeling, and post-construction stormwater management system design while working with various regulatory agencies.

Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with diverse teams across design disciplines to achieve a superior work product, including the documentation of design changes.

Lead small/moderate design teams on site development-specific projects.

Requirements

Position Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.

5+ years of working experience as a Civil Engineer.

Experience in site and land development, light to moderate roadway/access drive design, utility infrastructure design, and stormwater management design.

Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulic calculation software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, OneNote, Planner, Project, etc.).

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
