Come be an intern with our Survey Team in Alpharetta, GA!

Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! The FlatironDragados Intern Program Summer 2026 provides challenging and rewarding work opportunities for college students majoring in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.

As an Intern, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting at any number of project locations. In addition, you will assist the project manager, project engineer, and the rest of the on-site construction staff in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering technology by performing any combination of the following duties at a project job site.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


· Supports the monitoring of work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials.

· Aids in coordinating survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet the construction requirements.

· Provides checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques
· Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
· Assists with topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
· Performs layout work competently and accurately as specified by Survey Manager.
· Assists with conducting quantity calculations, as required.
· Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
· Support published corporate policies.
· Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.


 Survey interns/co-ops are required to be currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university
