Are you ready to shape the communities of tomorrow? We're seeking a driven and experienced Intermediate Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our growing team in Burnaby, BC. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions that make a lasting impact, working alongside a dynamic team of industry experts who value creativity, precision, and teamwork.


What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Lead and support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
  • Design servicing solutions for new developments, including lot grading, utility layout, and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide construction support services.
  • Assist in proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.

What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or development engineering, with a focus on new development servicing.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of municipal standards, development processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing small to mid-sized projects is an asset.

The salary range for this role is betweenย $115K - $140K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
