Civil engineers work with architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The field covers a wide range of activities, from site preparation and structural design to project management and maintenance of completed structures. Civil engineering construction plays a vital role in shaping the built environment and supporting modern society.
