Systems Administrator
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the reliable and secure operation of cyber-compliant computer systems. This role works closely with network administrators and other technical teams to ensure systems meet security standards and support business operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and monitor the performance of secure, cyber-compliant systems across Linux and Windows environments
• Interpret information security and data protection policies, translating them into technical requirements and actionable solutions
• Troubleshoot system configurations and resolve issues impacting embedded software functionality
• Perform routine system maintenance, including:
o Software patching and updates
o Virus and malware scanning
o Vulnerability assessments and remediation
o System backup and recovery processes
• Configure and manage administrator and service accounts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation
• Manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a dynamic, high-demand environment
• Collaborate with network administrators and cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and compliance

Required Qualifications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• 2+ years of experience with Linux systems administration
• 2+ years of experience with Windows systems
• Strong troubleshooting and system security experience
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
• Experience with Information Assurance tools such as Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, and STIG Viewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/eSTIG
• Programming experience with C++
• Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, Node.js, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab, Docker, and container-based microservices architecture
• Linux certification
• Must be eligible for a US Security Clearance

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $42.00/hr.
