This is your chance to dive into a wide variety of highway planning and transportation engineering projects that make a real impact on communities.


From day one, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where your foundational knowledge will be put to work-and expanded-as you contribute to meaningful infrastructure solutions. During the construction season, you may also have the exciting opportunity to step into the field with our construction services team, gaining hands-on experience in construction observation, inspection, and administration on WisDOT roadway and bridge projects.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Passing of FE exam is preferred
  • Previous experience in transportation engineering (professional or internship)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Valid driver's license
