As a high-growth firm, Wilson Engineers offers the opportunity to work on impactful and technically challenging projects alongside a talented and passionate team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our team in our Reno or Minden, Nevada office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to project teams, ensuring high-quality design and documentation.
  • Perform building code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of internal and consultant deliverables.
  • Coordinate construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site observations, and inspections.
  • Support business development efforts through client presentations, proposals, and relationship building.
  • Maintain organized project records and stay current on building codes, industry standards, and best practices.

Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
  • Can manage a staff.
  • Proficient in reading and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of CAD programs.
