Job Description
Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Senior Civil Engineer (10+ years) to join our Anchorage team in applying engineering skills to challenging, rewarding projects.

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Coffman Engineers, you'll be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team that believes in making a difference for our clients and our communities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor and lead civil engineers and designers, coordinate with clients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This role provides opportunities to work on a wide variety of project types ranging from military, federal, commercial, industrial, utilities, to energy and sustainability focused projects.
Qualifications
Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registration as a PE
  • 10 or more years of experience in the design and management of road designs, military projects, underground and aboveground utilities, and water treatment plants
  • Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with other team members.
  • Technical mentorship of civil engineering team members
  • Experience with both urban and rural infrastructure throughout Alaska preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Effective technical writing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A positive attitude with a focus on team and client success
