Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Civil Engineer / QC Manager to join our Pompano Beach office. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional who is passionate about technical excellence in land development and water resources. The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical advisor, providing leadership and guidance on complex projects while mentoring engineering staff and supporting strategic growth.
What you'll do:
  • Serve as a technical resource on complex land development and water resources projects.
  • Provide high-level technical review and approval of plans, reports, calculations, and specifications.
  • Support Project Managers on complex projects by offering guidance on design approaches, risk mitigation, and constructability.
  • Assist with troubleshooting challenging design issues and ensuring technical consistency across projects.
  • Participate in proposal development by defining technical approaches, scopes, and QA/QC plans.
  • Lead and continuously improve KEITH's civil engineering QA/QC program.
  • Mentor and guide engineering staff, fostering professional development and technical growth.

Ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
  • Progressive engineering experience, with strong expertise in land development and water resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to easily build strong relationships.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects.
