This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on field experience while benefiting from flexible remote work. You'll play a key role in structural design projects for residential and commercial multi-story buildings, ensuring the development of resilient and sustainable structures across Texas.



DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform engineering calculations, field inspections, and civil design reviews
  • Collaborate with a team of designers and Engineers-in-Training on various civil projects
  • Utilize AutoCAD to produce designs for surveys, roadways, hydraulics & hydrology, utilities, water, and wastewater
  • Develop civil designs for public works projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards
  • Manage engineering scope, oversee project schedules and budgets, and create change orders
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Assist in project permit applications and approvals, coordinating with reviewing authorities
  • Provide oversight for bidding and awarding construction projects
  • Ensure quality assurance and control in civil engineering design activities




QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in structural design software and CAD tools
