Metric is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join our Georgetown office and support a growing portfolio of land development and public facilities and infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in the design of land/site development and public facility and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, and utility systems
  • Prepare construction documents, plans, and technical specifications
  • Perform stormwater management, hydrology/hydraulic calculations, and site layout design
  • Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Participate in field visits, site inspections, and project meetings
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited institution
  • EIT certification required (or actively pursuing)
  • 2+ years of experience in land development, site design, or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred) and other design tools
  • Familiarity with local Austin / Central Texas design standards and permitting processes is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
