Job description

We have partnered with a large Civil Engineering company in the Chantilly, VA area to provide them with a Civil Engineer-Land Development Engineer.   Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

 

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Civil Engineer-Land Development Engineer:

#1. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D

#2. 4–10 years of civil engineering experience

#3. Experience working on both public and private sector projects

#4. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

 

Responsibilities of the Civil Engineer-Land Development Engineer: 

  • Work on diverse projects for both public and private sectors
  • Participate in land development design projects including:
    • Site planning
    • Stormwater management
    • Infrastructure design
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (engineers, planners, architects, etc.)
  • Contribute to projects such as:
    • Mixed-use/transit-oriented developments
    • Government facilities
    • Residential, commercial, and office sites
    • Utilities and infrastructure
    • Mission critical/data centers

 

Requirements of the Civil Engineer-Land Development Engineer: 

  • 4–10 years of civil engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience with land development design for private and public sector clients
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and focused
  • EIT or PE certification is a plus

  • Work on-site.
  • No sponsorships or visa holders.  No Corp-to-Corp.
  • Prefer someone with local experience (Client do not pay for relocation expenses).
