We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing construction organization specializing in site development, municipal infrastructure, commercial landscape construction, earthworks, and outdoor space transformation. Their projects range from parks and recreational facilities to large-scale civil and site servicing works. They are committed to delivering high-quality projects while building sustainable, functional environments for the communities they serve.

Role Description
Our client is seeking a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor based in the Greater Toronto Area. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day site operations and workforce productivity
  • Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
  • Resolving on-site issues and maintaining progress timelines
  • Communicating regularly with project managers and stakeholders
  • Supervising crews and promoting a strong team environment
  • Supporting successful project completion from start to finish
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of site development, civil infrastructure, and construction practices
  • Experience supervising crews, trades, and subcontractors on active job sites
  • Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination
  • Solid understanding of construction safety and quality control standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and technology
  • Experience in landscape construction and earthworks is considered an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
