What is a citycentre job?

A Citycentre job typically refers to employment within a retail, hospitality, or administrative setting located in a city's central business district or a specific CityCentre development. Job description

Now Hiring: Bartender – Daily Gather, CityCentre

From the team behind Houston’s beloved Dish Society comes Daily Gather—our full-service, feel-good kitchen in the heart of CityCentre.

So… what is Daily Gather? We prefer to ask: Who is Daily Gather?
And the answer is simple: we are a group of people who love food, community, and creating something special around the table. Our restaurant is built on nostalgia, culture, and craft—from the plates we serve to the drinks we pour.

Our bar program is no exception. Classic cocktails? We love them. But we also remix them—adding a touch of flair and flavor to make each sip uniquely us. Our wine list honors timeless varietals, but we’re not afraid to let our funky favorites take the stage. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, we want guests to feel like they’ve discovered something memorable.

Daily Gather is growing fast, and we’re looking for a skilled bartender to join our crew. If you’re passionate about hospitality, take pride in your craft, and want to work with a high-energy team, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
As a bartender, you’ll be the face of the bar—shaking, stirring, and serving up more than just drinks. You’ll create great guest experiences by being efficient, knowledgeable, and warm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile and provide outstanding service

  • Prepare all beverages to spec, consistently and with care

  • Learn the names and preferences of our regulars

  • Make thoughtful recommendations from our wine, beer, and cocktail list

  • Keep your bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked

  • Assist in bar prep: garnishes, syrups, batching, and restocking

  • Support food service at the bar and maintain your section

  • Follow all alcohol service guidelines and safety standards

  • Help maintain a positive, team-first environment on every shift

What You Bring to the Table:

  • At least 21 years old

  • Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality

  • Comfortable multitasking in a high-volume environment

  • Good working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits

  • A genuine desire to learn, grow, and be a part of a team

  • Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and move quickly behind the bar

  • Professional appearance and excellent hygiene

  • Prior bartending experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right person

Our Core Values:
???? Hospitality
???? Growth
???? Pride
???? Connectedness

If these sound like you, you’ll fit right in.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Career growth opportunities with a growing restaurant group

  • Team member discounts

  • A work culture built on passion, collaboration, and great vibes

So, pull up a chair, gather ‘round, and stay a while.
Click to apply and let’s make something great together.

Looking for Part time/Full time team members up to 40 hours per week.
