Role Overview
The Systems Administrator III serves as a senior technical leader responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of Hyundai AutoEver America's Windows/Linux server and storage infrastructure. This role provides strategic direction for infrastructure standards, lifecycle management, and implementation of enterprise IT solutions that support Hyundai family companies. The position ensures the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of server environments while driving process improvements, supporting critical projects, coordinating with headquarters, and delivering expert-level troubleshooting and technical analysis to maintain business continuity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Leadership and Infrastructure Strategy by developing and implementing standards, lifecycle management plans, architectural designs, and best practices for Windows/Linux server and storage environments while aligning with corporate IT objectives and headquarters initiatives.
  • Administer and Maintain Enterprise Server Infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file and print services, storage systems, and virtualization platforms to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Monitor, Optimize, and Troubleshoot Systems through proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex hardware, software, and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure Security, Compliance, and Disaster Recovery Readiness by implementing security controls, managing patching and vulnerability remediation, maintaining backup and recovery solutions, and supporting compliance with applicable standards and organizational policies.
  • Drive Process Improvement and IT Service Management Excellence by enhancing operational procedures, supporting change and incident management processes, maintaining accurate asset inventories, and ensuring timely resolution of IT service requests through ITSM platforms.
  • Develop Automation and Documentation Standards by creating scripts and automation solutions, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, documenting configurations and procedures, and sharing knowledge with team members to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support and Lead Infrastructure Projects by providing technical expertise throughout project lifecycles, coordinating stakeholders and vendors, conducting project meetings, managing implementation activities, and ensuring successful delivery of Windows/Linux server and storage initiatives.

Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Windows and Linux server environments as a primary systems administrator.
  • Strong experience managing VMware virtualization, SAN storage infrastructure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • 2+ years of IT infrastructure project management or project coordination experience, including planning, implementation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Demonstrated expertise in server configuration, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) to improve operational efficiency and automate administrative tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues, collaborate across teams, and deliver projects on time.
  • Korean speaker
Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified, VMware VCP, Linux Professional Institute (LPIC), Red Hat, Azure, AWS, or other relevant infrastructure certifications.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives related to IT operations, change management, incident management, and service delivery.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, support contracts, and infrastructure procurement activities.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, advanced security frameworks, and enterprise-scale capacity planning strategies.

Salary Range: $79,000 to $108,000 + outstanding benefits package
