Our Drivers work a 4 - 10 schedule Tuesday through Friday



GENERAL SCOPE: Opportunity to use pride and passion for Olympic Eagle's portfolio of beverage products to create and maintain an image of being the leader in the market. This position is responsible for the delivery of product currently distributed by Olympic Eagle to on and/or off premise accounts, and to work closely with the salesman and merchandiser for each account to deliver impeccable customer service. This person must enjoy working on a team but be able to work alone in their accounts, follow guidelines, and meet high expectations held by our suppliers and Olympic Eagle. Full-time position.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Comes to work neatly groomed and with a clean uniform

Maintains accurate driver-sell route books

Must be courteous and understanding to customer needs

Delivers and rotates product

Regularly carries code cards, price lists, and business cards

Prepares and updates daily load sheets

Properly handles all product, cases and kegs, both full and empty

Verifies accuracy of drivers load and load sheets each day

Keeps the truck cabs and bays neat and clean

Checks rotation in each account on every delivery

Reports any discrepancies or problems on route to management

Knows and understands rules and laws of the State of Washington as well as Federal regulations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

High School Diploma or GED required

Ability to, regularly and frequently, lift a maximum of 160 lbs required

Must have a valid Washington State Class A CDL and be insurable.

Must possess a valid medical exam card as required by Washington State

Beverage industry experience preferred, but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Driving to and from customer accounts which include, but are not limited to local bars and taverns, grocery stores, convenience stores, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, twist, bend and occasionally stoop, climb, squat and kneel. This position requires the extensive use of hands and arms to lift, rotate and face product, as well as the ability to reach and climb to the tops of displays and full pallets. Specific vision abilities include close, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for the purpose of assessing image of displays.

Olympic Eagle provides company sponsored Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance to all Full Time Employees. Employees are able to enroll themselves and their families in medical, dental and vision insurance. 401k is provided to non-union employees. Union employees will be part of a pension program. Employees will also receive 8 paid holidays and up to 40 hours of vacation after the first year of employment. This will increase to 80 hours at 2 years. We follow the Washington State Sick Leave for sick time accruals.
