Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth mental health evaluations and interviews, documenting comprehensive case histories from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, focused on their unique situations and needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to maximize client engagement and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challengesโ€”ranging from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and trauma-related disorders. You will play a crucial role in fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients to overcome their challenges and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Proven experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong focus on best practices in therapeutic settings.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic health records systems such as AVATAR to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients with co-occurring disorders and involvement in addiction recovery processes.
  • Awareness of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines and best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of the physiological and psychological impact of pharmacological treatments provided by medical practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits
