Job Description The Citrix Administrator's role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions

This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Citrix Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Manage Citrix servers and their associated operating systems and software. 2. Implement and support Citrix XenApp multiple environments 3.

XenApp configuration, Xen Desktop, Provisioning Server, and hypervisor and management experience (VMware) 4. Administering Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) 7.x or later versions and Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS) 5. Implement and support Group Policies 6

Farm and Servers Reports / Maintenance 7. Configure and support NetScaler and Access Gateway solutions to support scalable delivery of applications 8. Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

9. Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports. 10.

Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. 11. Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

12. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services. 13.

Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. 14. Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.

15. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records. 16.

Check help desk database for entries on server and server resource issues; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate. 17. Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Strong technical knowledge of most versions of Citrix up to 7/15 (primary focus on XenApp) as well as NetScaler experience in a large Citrixfarm environment Developed analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to take direction and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements Must be able to provide proof of U.S
