Sr. Citrix Netscaler Systems Administrator


On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Sr. Citrix Netscaler Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. 


Sr. Citrix Netscaler Systems Administrator Job Details


Respond to all inquiries, incidents and projects in a timely manner meeting customer SLA. 

Daily administration includes maintenance of various components associated with a Citrix environment which includes, but is not limited to Published Applications, Profile Management, Provisioning Services, Load Balancing, Redirect/Forwarding, VM Management, DHCP and Group Policy. 

Must have a solid working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, User Rights Assignments, thin clients, desktop operating systems, firewalls and networking. 

Daily activities include Incident and Service Request ticket management and Change Management


Sr. Citrix Netscaler Systems Administrator Mandatory Skills


Must be experienced in building, troubleshooting and maintaining Citrix XenApp, XenServer & NetScaler systems along with the Windows Operating systems that the XenApp infrastructure resides on. 


8+ years experience in an enterprise level distributed environment (SAN, Virtual, Windows, Data Center) 

5+ years Citrix experience in an enterprise environment 

Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) in XenApp and/or XenServer with Netscaler knowledge 

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with current clients, prospective clients, and with internal personnel. 

Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS SMTP and other networking areas. 

Proficiency in enterprise storage technologies such as NAS and Storage Area Networking, and Backup & Recovery. 


Qualifications: 

Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) 

Microsoft Certifications (such as MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCTS) 

Advanced knowledge of Netscaler 

Advanced technical knowledge and experience Windows server environments 

Advanced knowledge of security and compliance standards such as SOx and PCI DSS. 

Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V.
