Job description

The Portfolio Advisor will support the Head of Portfolio Advisory and Senior Portfolio Advisors. The Portfolio Advisory team sits with the Citi Wealth Chief Investment Office (CIO) in New York at Citi's headquarters at 388 Greenwich Street. This role is for a highly motivated individual with a passion for investments, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to contribute to the dynamic environment of a high-growth organization.

They will support field and client engagement, assisting in the communication of CIO views, and helping to set the agenda for internal meetings such as morning sales calls. As a contributor to the CIO team, the Portfolio Advisor will assist with investment solutions and client engagement functions, learning and developing within a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities: Assist in driving and communicating centralized messaging around CIO Team's strategy, views, and performance to the field and clients including via Global sales calls Collaborate with broader CIO Team on messaging and advisor needs.

Collaborate with the CIO Strategy team in developing supporting content for CIO investment views. Collaborate with Investment Solutions teams to align CIO views and with implementation recommendations and new product development. Training/mentoring junior team members.

Contribute to team efforts for client meeting prep and follow ups. Ensure compliance with all Citi policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements: 5-7 years of experience, preferably in developing, implementing, and communicating investment strategies.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with attention to detail and quality. Solid knowledge of markets and multi-asset class portfolio construction. Good understanding of the industry and competitors' products/services.

Collaborative and able to partner across practices and businesses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with strong interpersonal relationship management skills. Communication experience across various audiences.
