Job description

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Executing IT Audits (test of design, test of operative effectiveness) in a collaborative team setting in support of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for compliance with various regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FDICIA) as an external or internal auditor.
  • Performing Information Technology(IT) Audits (e.g., system development lifecycle, change management, incident response, etc.) and Security Assessments in various industries including Financial Services, Services Industry, Public Sector, Healthcare and Manufacturing as individual contributor and subject matter resource.
  • Working with information security frameworks including COBIT, CIS, NIST, ISO, etc.
  • Assisting on an engagement team with client projects participating in client discussions, completing and self-review of engagement deliverables, and interactions with client stakeholders.
  • Establishing network or peers and open to attending industry and professional organizations to expand network
  • Participating in internal firm initiatives including recruiting, seeking efficiencies in client delivery, and exploring new technologies to support internal and external projects

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems or similar discipline required
  • Commitment to obtain preferred certifications within 4 years. Preferred certifications include CISA, CIA or CISSP
  • Professional writing skills to summarize key take aways and project challenges/deficiencies to project stakeholders
  • Flexible schedule required to be responsive to client requests within total and billable hours goals
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledgeable Microsoft office suite
  • Attention to detail and conscientious quality of work product
  • Professional demeanor with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Potential travel up to 25%

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.
