Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cisco / Extreme Engineer to lead the analysis and optimization of route switch protocols. The role involves facilitating the transition from Cisco to Extreme Networks and collaborating with teams to implement solutions and troubleshoot network issues.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a seamless transition from Cisco to Extreme Networks, leveraging extensive knowledge in both platforms.
• Evaluate existing Cisco infrastructures, identifying areas for migration and optimization to align with Extreme Networks standards.
• Lead the planning and execution of migration strategies, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth shift in network environments.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers during the transition, fostering a skilled team adept in both Cisco and Extreme technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges specific to the migration process, ensuring a successful integration of Extreme Networks solutions.
