Job Description Low Temperature Field Technician - Commercial Refrigeration Location: Louisville, CO Wage Range: $30-$40/hour (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time | OT Eligible Reports To: Operations Manager Overview: A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a skilled Low Temperature Field Technician to service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemical plants, and recreational ice facilities. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair Freon and ammonia refrigeration systems (100-5,000 HP) Troubleshoot electrical and control systems (including VFDs and PLCs) Mentor apprentices and ensure job safety compliance Maintain accurate truck inventory and complete job documentation Interface with customers and provide technical recommendations Support sales with scopes for retrofits, upgrades, or system enhancements Qualifications: 5+ years of industrial refrigeration/HVACR experience Experience with reciprocating/screw compressors, 1 & 2-stage systems, liquid overfeed, CPR/HPR Strong electrical troubleshooting and motor alignment skills Familiarity with OSHA, EPA PSM, and RMP standards Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Ability to wear a respirator and work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license and clean MVR EPA Universal (required) OSHA-10 (within 6 months) RETA 1&2, CARO, or CIRO certifications (preferred) Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision FSA/HSA 401(k) with Match Company-paid Life & Disability PTO, Paid Holidays Additional voluntary benefits We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and provide accommodations in accordance with ADA guidelines.
