Licensed Plumber - Sewer & Drain Services
Ciro's Sewer Cleaning | Cleveland, Ohio
Position Overview
Ciro's Sewer Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled and licensed plumbing professional to support advanced sewer and drain operations across the Cleveland metropolitan area.
This role is designed for an experienced State of Ohio Licensed Plumber capable of independently diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing and sewer systems while ensuring full compliance with state and municipal codes. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and the professionalism required to operate in residential, commercial, and municipal environments.
This position plays a critical role in permit-driven work, regulatory compliance, and the execution of complex sewer and plumbing projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced sewer and drain diagnostics, repairs, and installations across residential and commercial systems.
  • Independently troubleshoot complex plumbing and sewer issues, including structural failures, blockages, and code compliance concerns.
  • Perform licensed plumbing work in accordance with Ohio state plumbing codes and local municipal regulations.
  • Pull permits and coordinate inspections when required.
  • Operate and maintain professional sewer and drain equipment, including jetters, cameras, and drain machines.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and municipal inspectors.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and apprentices when applicable.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job outcomes.
Required Qualifications
  • Active State of Ohio Plumbing License (Journeyman or Master required).
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on plumbing and/or sewer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform licensed plumbing work without supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, sewer infrastructure, and applicable codes.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • City of Cleveland Sewer Builder license or similar municipal certification.
  • Experience in sewer cleaning, drain services, or underground utilities.
  • Experience working with municipal inspectors and permit processes.
  • CDL or experience operating heavy service vehicles.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technicians.
Compensation & Position Value
Hourly Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour, based on license level, technical capability, and relevant experience.
Higher compensation is available for candidates with:
  • Master plumbing license
  • Municipal or infrastructure-level experience
  • Sewer Builder or similar certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex, permit-driven work
