Location: Byron Center, MI

Shift: 2nd Shift (with required overtime)

Pay: $18.00+ Based on Experience

Job Summary
Are you a mechanically inclined, detailoriented individual looking to grow your skills in a fastpaced manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our team in Byron Center. In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing highquality metal components that support our company’s mission of delivering precisionengineered products.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Brake Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Machine Setup & Operation — Set up and operate various Brake Press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Blueprint & Measurement Interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints while using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and 360degree protractors to ensure exact specifications.
  • Quality & Program Adjustments — Inspect finished parts, make basic program adjustments when needed, and maintain consistent quality throughout production.
In addition, you will also be expected to work with a sense of urgency, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support continuous improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and retain technical information.
  • Experience with metal bending, forming, or rolling is a plus.
  • Ability to work required overtime: currently M–F 10hour shifts + 5hour Saturdays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
Skills
  • Mechanical Skills — Ability to understand machine functions and perform accurate setups to ensure highquality output.
  • Attention to Detail — Strong measurement and inspection skills to maintain precision and consistency.
