Job description

Join a team shaping the future of pharmacy transformation. This role plays a critical part in connecting strategy to execution-turning enterprise priorities, regulatory requirements, and leadership decisions into coordinated plans that drive measurable outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders across Cigna Pharmacy and the enterprise to align direction, enable delivery, and ensure complex initiatives are executed with clarity, speed, and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end strategic planning and execution across large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment from strategy through implementation and operational readiness.

  • Own development and maintenance of integrated program roadmaps, including milestones, dependencies, sequencing, and readiness checkpoints across multiple workstreams.

  • Drive cross-functional intake and prioritization, aligning Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Operations, Pricing, and Go-to-Market teams to enterprise priorities.

  • Establish and lead governance structures, including executive steering committees, status reporting, KPI tracking, and decision escalation pathways.

  • Translate complex business, regulatory, financial, and operational inputs into clear, decision-ready materials that support executive alignment and action.

  • Lead structured decision-making processes, including issue framing, tradeoff analysis, and documentation to ensure clear traceability and alignment.

  • Identify and proactively manage risks, interdependencies, and delivery gaps; coordinate cross-functional mitigation strategies to maintain program momentum.

  • Ensure alignment between regulatory requirements, business design, and implementation plans to support compliance, audit readiness, and successful delivery.

  • Monitor program performance and provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, management consulting, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Strong ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across diverse functions and levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.

  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to create executive-level presentations and convey complex topics clearly.

  • Experience with program governance, decision frameworks, and performance tracking at an enterprise level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, healthcare, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling, business case development, and enterprise planning processes.

  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programs involving regulatory or compliance-driven initiatives.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,100 - 216,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
