Job Summary:
Cigars International is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior IT Support leader to join their IT Operations team. This role is responsible for delivering advanced technical support, mentoring junior staff, and driving continuous improvement in end-user services across the organization.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide support for hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues
โ€ข Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and service requests
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve issues across endpoints, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
โ€ข Manage and prioritize incidents within ticketing system.
โ€ข Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
โ€ข Administer and support: Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
โ€ข Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID)
โ€ข Endpoint management tools (Intune)
โ€ข Support network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, Zscaler)
โ€ข Identify opportunities to improve support processes and user experience
โ€ข Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
โ€ข Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell or scripting tools
โ€ข Participate in IT projects (deployments, migrations, rollouts)
โ€ข Mentor and guide junior IT support staff
โ€ข Assist in training users and team members on new technologies
โ€ข Contribute to performance improvement of the help desk function
โ€ข Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Applications)
โ€ข Manage executive-level support when required
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
โ€ข 5+ years of IT support experience, including hands-on troubleshooting in enterprise environments
โ€ข Strong expertise in Windows OS and enterprise applications
โ€ข Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem
โ€ข Strong expertise in Active Directory / Identity & Access Management
โ€ข Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
โ€ข Experience with endpoint management and device provisioning
โ€ข May require occasional after-hours support or on-call rotation
Preferred:
โ€ข Certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Modern Desktop / Azure / M365)
โ€ข Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
โ€ข Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python)
โ€ข Experience with Zero Trust / security best practices
โ€ข Experience with remote support and global organizations
โ€ข Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
