Territory Sales Manager supporting Portland, OR and surrounding Markets.
Primary Purpose:
Swisher is looking for a results-driven Territory Manager who grow sales sells through data, insights, and structured selling. This role uses facts, analytics, and market intelligence to influence customer decisions, drive distribution, and deliver measurable top and bottom-line growth and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Growth Through Solution Selling
- Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market trends to uncover growth opportunities
- Deliver fact-based recommendations that improve category performance and shopper outcomes
- Lead customer conversations via story-telling, as a category advisor, not just a supplier
Expand Distribution & Market Presence
- Increase stores receiving points of distribution, assortment, and shelf presence across retail and wholesale accounts
- Execute new product launches with speed to market and aligned with consumer trends and retailer needs
- Prioritize high-impact opportunities using data and territory insights
Leverage Market & Consumer Intelligence
- Stay ahead of consumer, competitive, and industry trends
- Translate insights into strategies that help customers win in their local markets
- Bring forward proactive, forward-looking recommendations
Build Strong Customer Partnerships
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Influence outcomes using data storytelling and value-based selling
- Partner cross-functionally with distributors to ensure aligned execution
Execute with Excellence
- Ensure best-in-class in-store execution of merchandising, promotions, and pricing to drive market share
- Use CRM and analytics tools to track performance, measure impact, and refine strategies
What You Bring
- 2+ years of customer-facing sales experience
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills
- Experience in CPG, retail, or distributor environments (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and digital tools
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally
