Description

Vermont Hard Cider Company has an opening for an experienced Production Manager to lead daily 2nd Shift production operations at our Middlebury, VT manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the floor, coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and helping a team perform at its best. We are looking for a proven production leader with manufacturing experience and prior supervisory responsibility.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.  

Compensation: In accordance with Vermont law, the good-faith annual salary range for this leadership role is $72,000 to $90,000. Final compensation will be based on relevant manufacturing leadership experience, prior supervisory responsibility, demonstrated leadership capability, technical knowledge, shift complexity, and overall alignment with the position.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food, beverage, CPG, or another regulated production environment.

2+ years of supervisory experience leading production employees, assigning work, coaching performance, and maintaining accountability.

Strong floor presence, communication skills, judgment, organization, and follow-through.

Experience using schedules, labor planning, production metrics, and shift reporting to support decisions and improve performance.
