What You'll Be Doing

The Equipment Finance Associate works in a dynamic environment alongside Sales, Operations, Asset Management and Management colleagues to originate loans and leases. This candidate will support new business origination, servicing of the existing portfolio of loans and leases, and developing sales materials. This role will cover CIBC Equipment Finance's nationwide business.

How You'll Succeed

  • Coordinate transactions from opportunity inception through booking.

  • Create marketing materials, term sheets, and market presentations

  • Assist with pricing, credit approval preparation, document negotiation

  • Support end-to-end relationship management including portfolio servicing and payoff requests

  • Learn the credit culture of CIBC Bank USA in order to present appropriate credits for approval

  • Maintain Salesforce pipeline and client/prospect records

  • Engage with asset management and operations in the execution and original transactions as well as ongoing portfolio maintenance

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
