Job description

Job Title: Campus Production Director

Ministry/Department: Production

Reports to: Technical Director

Status: Full-time, exempt

Supervisory Role: No

Objective

To create a distraction-free worship environment where all people can discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work withtheworship gatherings team and campus team to plan and execute weekly worship services and big momentum events with excellence
  • Responsible for recruiting, training and maintaining serve staff team
  • Maintain Planning Center Online service plans and schedules
  • Communicate vision for the upcomingweekend experience to serve staff
  • Program lighting and media content forweekend services
  • Rehearse necessary elements of service to ensure a distraction-free experience
  • Coordinate with campus team members on service elements and transitions
  • Execute high quality, distraction-free worship services with serve staff team
  • Find areas for improvement in programming and execution of services and events
  • Identify, troubleshootand solve technical issues that may occur
  • Maintain production team equipment and software
  • Attend and contribute to central, campus and one-on-one meetings
  • Disciple and lead the student serve staff team, encouraging growth both spiritually and in their serve staff roles

Education and Experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This a full-time, exemptposition with days of work being Sunday through Thursday. However, hours can vary based on church need to include working full weekends.

The church has several big events, ("All-Skates") throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment

This job operates in a varied environment, including office, stage and tech booth. It involves working around lighting, sound, and video equipment, often during worship services, rehearsals, and events.

Physical Demands

Thisjob is typically active and does not involve remaining in one place for extended periods. It may require the ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds), use tools, and move staging equipment. The role involves working in a variety of and production areas, which may include exposure to noise, lighting equipment, and occasional long or irregular hours, including weekends and events.

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
