Job description

SUMMARY
The Brentwood campus, Care amp; Senior Adult Administrative Assistant, is responsible to the church, under the direction of Senior Adults and the Congregational Care Minister, for providing administrative support and assistance in the areas of Senior Adults, Care, Support groups, and Counseling.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide Administrative support for both the Senior Adult amp; Care Minister and the Congregational Care Counselor.
  • Provide administrative support for Senior Adults, Nurture Team, Care, and Counseling ministries of the church.
  • Assist Senior Adult amp; Care Minister and Congregational Care Counselor with accurate record keeping and generating reports.
  • Assist with promoting all the mentioned ministry areas, assist with executing special projects, and complete all bulk mailings from start to finish.
  • Ensure ministries and events are adequately scheduled, supported, and promoted.
  • Maintain the ministry calendar, ensure ministry materials are accurate and current, and maintain the Support Group database on an ongoing basis.
SUPPORT GROUPS
  • Support both the Senior Adult amp; Care Minister and the Congregational Care Counselor in launching and maintaining support groups.
  • Schedule the rooms and registrations for each group in eSpace, complete the Communication Requests for each group's publicity, and ensure they are on the campus calendar and website.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other campuses when Support Groups meet there.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support the Congregational Care Office as needed.
  • Support Campus and Care Pastor as needed.
  • Participation in staff meetings as required by the department.
  • Complete applicable weekly/quarterly/annual reports required by the department.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE:
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
