What is a church cleaning job?

Church cleaning jobs are for custodians and janitors who assist a religious building with its cleaning duties and light maintenance tasks. You can typically find church cleaning positions directly through a church as a part-time employee, or you can work for a service company that contracts with multiple businesses. Your responsibilities are to vacuum the floors, wash windows, shampoo carpeting, take out the trash, dust furniture and vents, and clean restrooms. You may also perform basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, repairing bathroom fixtures, and oiling door hinges. These positions are often available during the hours when services are not in session.
