This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Give A Christmas is seeking a dependable and compassionate Volunteer Coordinator to support our Sponsor a Stocking program. Our organization provides personalized Christmas stockings to children spending the holidays in shelters, hospitals, foster placements, and crisis situations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping recruit and communicate with volunteers
  • Organizing volunteer schedules and activities
  • Assisting with stocking drives, preparation, and quality checks
  • Supporting community outreach and fundraising events
  • Maintaining clear communication with the Executive Director
  • Helping coordinate holiday deliveries when needed

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with others, and passionate about helping children. Experience with nonprofits or volunteer coordination is helpful but not required.

This is a flexible, unpaid volunteer opportunity based in Galena, Kansas. Some responsibilities may be completed remotely, but occasional in-person participation may be required during events and the holiday season.
