Job description

As an Elementary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and nurturing young minds, creating a positive learning environment, and fostering academic growth and social development in secondary school students.


Duties:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards

- Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom lessons and student engagement

- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student progress

- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

- Provide tutoring or extra support to students as needed

- Foster student development through creative and interactive teaching methods


Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)

- Teaching certification or license (required)

- Working towards Science of Reading Literacy Endorsement and/or completion

- Experience working with secondary school students in a classroom setting

- Proficiency in classroom management techniques

- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies

- Familiarity with learning technology tools for educational purposes
