POSITION OVERVIEW

The Storytelling & Content Strategist at Shepherds College is responsible for owning and developing the overall storytelling strategy for Shepherds Ministries and Shepherds College.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Leads a comprehensive storytelling strategy across all platforms.
  • Builds an ongoing pipeline of student, family, alumni, employer, and donor stories.
  • Develops social media storytelling campaigns and testimony posts.
  • Conducts in-depth interviews with students, families, and alumni.
  • Writes feature stories for Spotlight Magazine.
  • Hosts, develops, and grows the Shepherds College Podcast.
  • Builds, trains, and mentors a student social media team.
  • Collaborates with Admissions, Development, Marketing, and Alumni Relations to maximize storytelling impact.
  • Creates consistency, strategy, and long-term growth in how Shepherds shares its mission.
