CBN News – Washington, D.C.

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a proficient Production Videographer/Editor for the News Bureau in Washington, D.C. This person will operate control room systems, support live and recorded broadcasts, and ensure high-quality technical execution across studio, field, and digital production environments. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The salary range is $70,000-$85,000 (commensurate with experience).

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of broadcast, newsroom, and production environments
  • Working knowledge of video, audio, and lighting fundamentals
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in broadcast, newsroom, or production environments
  • Skill in using Adobe Premiere Pro with entry-level to intermediate proficiency
  • Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and during live broadcast situations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and breaking news coverage
  • Ability to support live control room operations
  • Knowledge of news feed routing and ingest systems preferred
  • Knowledge of DMX lighting systems preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move production equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in studio, control room, and field production environments
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time while operating technical equipment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work independently as well as an effective production team member
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in fast-paced environments
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and give clear directions as needed, as well as take directions
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
