Job description

Role’s Mission:

The Video Producer directly reports to the Video Communications Manager and is responsible for the thorough and efficient handling of video assets and products, from conception to distribution and beyond. In collaboration with the Video Communications Manager, the Video Producer will develop video projects, ensuring timely progression of quality content in partnership with other Communications teams and Christ Chapel departments.

Christ Chapel’s Mission:

Role’s Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the production of assigned video projects, ensuring all are aligned with standards and overall communication goals

  • Collaborate with the Video Communications Manager, Communications team, and departmental teams to scope, prioritize, and plan video projects

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for worship services, social media, events, and promotions, including the ongoing capture of B-roll footage for future use across platforms

  • Stay relevant on current video trends in the church world and beyond, studying various platforms in social media, advertising, film, television

  • Help maintain current video equipment, research and suggest improvements to our current inventory, and continue to develop editing skills while learning new techniques and applications

  • Be available to capture footage at various ministry events, including possible travel

Role’s Reporting Relationship: This role reports to the Video Communications Manager.

Position Details: Full-time | Salaried | Exempt 

Role’s Requirements:

  • Must be a maturing believer who is consistently and increasingly pursuing a deeper relationship with Christ

  • At least an intermediate skill with motion graphics and a desire to learn more

  • Robust and expanding knowledge of video techniques, best practices, and developments

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and their details at once

Character-

  • Must be a Christian

  • Must be living an “above reproach” lifestyle as outlined in the Bible and Christ Chapel’s Employee Handbook

Calling-

  • Must be committed to and supportive of the authority of the Elders, the pastoral staff, and the philosophy and direction of the church both in public and in private

  • Must work scheduled hours each week as unto the Lord

  • Must be a faithful steward of your work and time, with awareness that Christ Chapel employees are paid from the tithes and offerings of others
