Job Description

Vimly Benefit Solutions is seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist to support its Corporate Compliance Program and client compliance obligations for multi-employer and complex group benefits administration. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Compliance & Privacy, this role will research and interpret regulatory requirements, identify compliance risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and partner across departments to improve processes, controls, training, documentation, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring federal and state regulatory changes
  • Managing required filings and business licenses in the applicable states. License types include COA/business license, TPA licenses, annual reports, and renewals as necessary.
  • Supporting HIPAA-related investigations and documentation
  • Assisting with HITRUST R2, SOC 1/SOC 2 audits, control reviews, risk assessments, compliance training, and maintaining compliance calendars, repositories, and communications.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years in a compliance, regulatory, or similar role at a health insurance, benefits administration, or related health care industry.
  • Certification or willing to obtain certification in one of the following, or equivalent, CHC, CIPP/US, CHPC, CRCM.
  • Experience with HITRUST R2 Certification and SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint


Candidate Location: Candidates located in Washington or Tennessee are strongly preferred. We will also consider exceptionally qualified candidates residing in other approved hiring locations. What We Offer

Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000. Eligible for annual bonus earnings, up to 5% of annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary depending upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
