Job description

On-Site 100% 

Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 yearly 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You are responsible for the maintenance operations of facilities. Responsible for the direction and management of the entire facilities maintenance staff to ensure clean and well-maintained facilities. Oversee all project management to include staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement. You will report to the Senior Director of Facilities Maintenance.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will plan, direct, and prioritize maintenance operations of Choctaw facilities and general building systems. Monitor preventative maintenance and facility repair processes.
  2. Monitor the safety and accessibility of the Choctaw Nation and its facilities. Be the contact for the department for code (e.g. ADA, Fire Life Safety) compliance issues, accessibility improvement projects, and other code related issues.
  3. Develop, recommends, and administer policies to support building maintenance operations and support services.
  4. Create the maintenance budget, procurement and other fiscal management activities associated with building maintenance activities, RFPs, and outside vendor contracts.
  5. You will develop maintenance staff, in the management operations of Choctaw Nation facilities.  
  6. Collect and analyze a variety of complex data, including utility costs and usage. Perform statistical analysis and summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication media.
  7. Ensure that all work performed has a work order filled out and completed.  Manage work orders to ensure that work orders are completed promptly, and all time is being captured in CMMS.
  8. Enforce Choctaw Nation policies, rules, practices and ensure assets are being controlled.
  9. Develop and justify need for systems, equipment, supplies, purchases, and monitors usage. Oversee proper order and stock supplies. Responsible for inventory/security of supplies.
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education
  •  Improve decision-making of all levels of leadership.
  •  5+ years of experience creating the maintenance budget and department costs.
  •  Knowledge of mechanical systems concerning HVAC, electrical, lighting and plumbing.
  •  Central Utility Plant knowledge with multiple chillers.
  •  5+ years of experience handling large events concerning banquet, kitchen and concert operations
  •  Expertise in managing and maintaining a budget and department costs.
  •  Build relationships needed to move us to a world class organization.
  •  Working knowledge of the CMMS process
  •   Seven (7+) years' leading a maintenance team to include hiring, evaluating, and coaching.
