Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our CVPICU unit.
The position requires a commitment to working nights, with three 12-hour shifts weekly.
The nurse will care for a highly variable patient population, primarily infants and children with surgical needs.
Expect to manage high acuity patients, including those on ECMO, requiring intricate monitoring and care.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in bedside procedures, including chest tube placement and cardioversions.
Experience with ventilated patients and dysrhythmia management is essential.
The role includes a weekend commitment of four shifts per month, with some holidays.
The ideal candidate is adaptable and willing to float as needed within pediatric services.
Self-scheduling will be employed to maintain flexibility in staffing.
