Job description

Overview

Emory University Division of Pediatric Nephrology is seeking a Board‑Certified (BC/BE) pediatric nephrologist to join our collegial group of clinicians. The position is predominantly clinical with opportunities to engage in quality improvement, clinical research, and education.

Description

As a pediatric nephrologist, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric kidney transplant recipients, chronic dialysis patients, and individuals with hypertension, lupus, and chronic kidney disease. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic care, inpatient consults, procedural management, mentorship of trainees, and participation in program development within the ACGME‑accredited fellowship program.

Division Details

We perform 25‑30 pediatric kidney transplants annually and follow more than 200 recipients. The division also follows 40‑50 chronic dialysis patients and offers dedicated clinics for transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, transition care, lupus, and chronic kidney disease.

Academic Opportunities

Access to a diverse research portfolio with federal, industry, and foundation support. The division supports clinical research through a Pediatric Research Center, grant‑writing assistance, statistical support, and staffing of over 40 IRB‑approved protocols.

Employment Details

Employment will be in the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute. Most duties are in‑person at an Emory University location; remote work options may be granted at departmental discretion.
