Chiropractic Assistant (Bilingual: English & Haitian Creole)

Location: Oakland Park, Florida
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:30 AM–7:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Better Wellness Clinic is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Bilingual Chiropractic Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care while supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
  • Scan, fax, upload, and maintain patient records accurately.
  • Maintain organized electronic medical records and office documentation.
  • Perform basic data entry using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software.
  • Assist the chiropractor with patient care and daily clinical operations.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance representatives when appropriate.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Haitian Creole (required).
  • Minimum of 6 months of chiropractic office experience, 1 year of medical assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of related healthcare experience.
  • Experience working with personal injury (PIP), commercial insurance, or chiropractic billing is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient with:
    • Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Email communication
    • Scanning, faxing, and document management
    • General office and electronic medical record (EMR) software
  • Professional telephone etiquette and strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
