Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess their functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Direct and implement effective physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as traction and massage, to alleviate pain and improve functionality.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants to ensure the seamless execution of treatment plans, providing guidance and supervision as necessary.
• Regularly evaluate clients' progress and adapt treatment plans based on clinical observations and patient feedback, communicating any significant findings to the interdisciplinary care team.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Instruct clients and their families in the use of therapeutic devices, highlighting proper care techniques and overall home exercise programs to support continuous improvement.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and recommendations regarding patient care strategies and overall treatment effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that impact their mobility and physical health. You'll work with clients of all ages, ranging from the elderly in need of geriatric rehabilitation to young athletes recovering from sports injuries. This role emphasizes a personalized approach, as you will not only address the physical aspects of therapy but also the emotional and motivational support that enhances recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, such as acute care or home care, is highly desirable.
• Maintain current CPR certification and possess a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home healthcare setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with the regulations governing physical therapy practices and home health services.
• A strong desire for continued professional development and lifelong learning in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
