We specialize in delivering language, training, information technology, cybersecurity, and intelligence support services to U.S. Government and Department of Defense customers worldwide.

Global Dimensions is seeking highly qualified Chinese-Mandarin Intelligence Linguists to support intelligence operations at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Chinese-Mandarin Intelligence Linguist provides advanced foreign language support to intelligence operations through accurate interpretation, translation, transcription, and analysis of classified and open-source materials. Working alongside intelligence professionals, the linguist supports real-world missions by enabling timely exploitation of foreign language information in support of national security objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses native or near-native Chinese-Mandarin language proficiency, experience supporting intelligence operations, and the ability to produce high-quality language products in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide accurate and timely interpretation, translation, and transcription of Chinese-Mandarin language materials in support of intelligence operations.

Support Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) missions.

Translate a wide variety of written and spoken materials, including legal, military, political, scientific, technical, and official government documents.

Prepare written summaries, extracts, and reports from foreign language source materials.

Review and edit translations for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and consistency.

Conduct bilingual text comparisons and quality assurance reviews of translated products.

Support operational meetings, briefings, conferences, and other mission activities through consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, as required.

Analyze foreign language materials to identify and extract relevant intelligence information.

Produce timely, accurate, and mission-focused language products that support operational decision-making.

Maintain strict adherence to security procedures and protect classified information in accordance with applicable regulations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility/access (TS/SCI) required.

Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence operations in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Counterintelligence (CI)
  • Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following exploitation disciplines:
  • Media Exploitation (MEDEX)
  • Cellular Exploitation (CELLEX)
  • Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX)
  • Language Proficiency

Candidates must possess the following minimum proficiency levels on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale:

Chinese-Mandarin: Level 3/3 (Listening/Reading or Speaking/Reading, as applicable)

English: Level 3/3

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese-Mandarin and English.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, extract, and communicate intelligence information from foreign language materials.

Ability to accurately translate technical, military, legal, scientific, political, and operational documents.

Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within multidisciplinary intelligence teams.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality language products.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Travel Requirements:

Must possess a valid U.S. Passport.

Must be willing and able to travel both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental Un
