Job description

About the Position:

The Lead Instructor of a Concordia Language Villages Government/Military program is responsible for the development and implementation of a language-specific, two- and three-week-long residential iso-immersion program in accordance with client-specified expectations.

This includes:

  • Planning and implementation the program curriculum,
  • Assisting with staff recruitment and interviewing,
  • Budget/expense tracking,
  • Some public relations, and
  • Interacting with the support staff from operations support areas at the Language Villages.

This position is responsible for implementing a program that reflects the mission and immersion methodology of Concordia Language Villages and meets client expectations, all within the parameters of the Concordia military pedagogical model.

The lead instructor reports to the Director of External Relations and Strategic Initiatives (who oversees the program), is responsible for managing the instructional teamย as a cohesive, collaborative team, and interfaces with the CLVย administrative team as a whole.
