Intelligence Analyst MID

HOW AN INTELLIGENCE ANALYST JR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Our work depends on a Jr-level Intelligence Analyst to provide allsource analytic support to defense and security efforts within the Pacific theater. This role supports theater operations, planning, and decisionmaking by producing highquality intelligence analysis across the IndoPacific area of responsibility.

As a Jr-Level Intelligence Analyst, you will:

  • Conduct allsource analysis to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain complex regional and functional national security issues within the Indo-Asia-Pacific area.
  • Produce operational and strategic intelligence products, including indications & warning, foundational intelligence, orderofbattle analysis, and crisisdriven reporting.
  • Fuse intelligence across multiple disciplines (GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, HUMINT, cyber) to support collection, targeting, operations, and planning.
  • Update and maintain intelligence databases (e.g., MIDB/MARS) with force disposition, equipment, units, facilities, and related military data.
  • Support JIPOE (Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment) and integrate adversary analysis into operational planning.
  • Coordinate with defense intelligence partners, IC members and global combatant commands to ensure analytic consistency and information sharing.
  • Deliver briefings and written assessments to senior DoW, CCMD, and nationallevel stakeholders.
  • Apply ICD 203 and ICD 206 tradecraft standards to all production.
  • Support potential shift work, crisis operations, and 24/7 situational awareness requirements as mission dictates.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree with 3 yrs related experience; with at least a portion of your experience in the last 2 yrs. 7yrs of experience in the labor category can be substituted for the Bachelors degree.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to independently research, analyze, and produce intelligence assessments using incomplete or complex information.
  • Proven experience collaborating with IC partners, resolving analytic disputes, and integrating multiple analytic perspectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for senior leaders.
  • Ability to guide analytic methodology selection and apply validated analytic techniques.
  • Proficiency with standard intelligence tools and databases (e.g., M3, MIDB/MARS, TAC, RMT) as appropriate to the mission area.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting IndoPacific regional analysis (e.g., China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia).
  • Familiarity with DoW and IC production standards and processes.
  • Experience producing highvisibility briefings for command leadership.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $77,350 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
