Location: Chimney Rock Winery – Napa

Chimney Rock Winery is looking for a Wine Education & Sales Consultant who is responsible for providing guests of Chimney Rock Winery top of class hospitality and customer service. This position ensures each guest has a memorable and exceptional winery experience, where the focus is on sales, wine club sign ups, customer service, telling the brand story and wine education. This position will support all management initiatives set by the Sr. Retail & Hospitality Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Promote and sell Chimney Rock wines, the Wine Club and merchandise.
- Provide guests with a memorable and exceptional experience. This includes:
- Educating guests about Chimney Rock’s history, and describing wines and winemaking techniques
- Developing and cultivating ongoing relationships with guests and wine club members to encourage repeat visits, referrals and future sales
- Hosting an engaging tasting with exceptional customer service and hospitality as the foundation
- Setting up and conducting general and private tours and tastings for trade partners, VIPs or club members
- Assist with daily business functions, including opening and closing procedures, wine and non-wine inventory, and restocking.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions through the point of sale system.
