Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Chimney Sweep / Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, visiting residential and commercial properties to inspect, clean, repair, and maintain chimney and venting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect & Clean: Perform thorough inspections and sweepings of wood-burning and gas fireplaces, chimneys, inserts, and dryer vents.

  • Diagnose & Repair: Identify safety hazards, structural damage, or maintenance needs, and perform necessary repairs (such as masonry touch-ups, cap installations, and relining).

  • Customer Education: Clearly explain inspection findings to homeowners, present repair options, and provide accurate estimates.

  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety guidelines, especially when working on roofs, ladders, and handling specialized equipment.

  • Maintain Equipment: Keep your company vehicle organized, stocked, and clean.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No Fear of Heights: Comfortable working on roofs, navigating high ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, bend, climb, and perform physical labor daily.

  • Customer-First Attitude: Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.

  • Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required to operate our company vehicles.

  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic.

  • Preferred but not required: Previous experience in construction, roofing, masonry,  or general labor.
