Job Title: Infant Toddler Teacher
Location: Childrens Lighthouse of The Woodlands
Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To:  Center Director

We believe in fostering a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment where every child can thrive.
Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a warm and supportive classroom environment that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive, respectful, and nurturing care to infants and toddlers (ages 6wks-12mths)
  • Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily routines, progress, and concerns
  • Observe and document children’s growth, behavior, and development
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and administrative staff to plan curriculum and activities
  • Follow all licensing regulations and health and safety standards
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or willingness to obtain
  • At least 2 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed child care setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active play
